Requirements

I think my child can do it...

Water polo is a demanding sport!  It is helpful, although not required, if the player is also a member of a swim team.

In order to play, the athlete should be able to swim 100 meters (4 lengths) unassisted, and without stopping, using any stroke.  Also, they should be able to tread water for 60 seconds.

Beginning players should be at least 9-years-old by May 31, 2025.  If there is enough interest, we may offer "Splashball" for younger kids. This is a fun, safe way to start learning water polo.
